In late 1997 I finished a small robotics project that I called MBF (mans best friend). I put up an extensive site for it that went into details of the hardware/software design construction and fun I had with the thing in hopes of interesting some other players.

You guessed it, no joy :( Here you can see some more shots of the little bugger.

Making a long story short, the engine is an hc11 running my own incarnation Fig '79. Polarid sonar, listener, IR seeker, ambient light, ambient temp, two tone out channels and all the primatives running in a tight real time assy lang loop.
