If you read the previous post, you saw that I cut over to underground services and in the process tore-down the airel power drops. Well, after that the noise level on 75m totally changed in character from "snap crackle pop" to the smooth white noise hiss of the background noise from the Big Bang! Well, almost.
I began a systematic inspection of the old power cables and found that the 100amp feed to my storage building had two (2) ruptures in the insulation of one leg of the split phase feed to the bullding. I took some close-up pictures of the offending buggers that you can see if you read on:....
